To be successful as an office assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, trustworthy, technologically savvy, Microsoft Office proficient and attentive to detail while also being accurate. He/she should also be prepared, responsive and willing to deal with challenges of a dynamic, fast paced business environment and willing to learn new concepts and ideas.
